Caitlin Lamont OGC 2009

Caitlin has been a committee member of the Old Geelong Collegians’ Association since 2020. Caitlin, a third generation Collegian, attended The Geelong College from 2002 until 2009 where she served as Vice-Captain of the College and Coles House Prefect. In her time at the College she was heavily involved in music and the performing arts. Caitlin studied a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University where she co-chaired the Deakin University Education Conference Committee in 2013. Caitlin then went on to become a graduate researcher at Monash University and currently at The University of Melbourne investigating educational leadership. Caitlin has worked in education as a leading teacher, Head of Faculty, Head of Performing Arts, and as Years 8 and 9 Coordinator. She is also responsible for designing and implementing the inquiry learning program at a girls’ school in Melbourne. Caitlin is a multi-disciplined Year 12 examination assessor and examination writing panellist with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. An avid theatre patron, Caitlin performs in musicals, learns French, and frequents restaurants.
