Established on 11 March 1987, the Foundation exists to support and assist The Geelong College to ensure the preservation, improvement and development of the school’s educational offering and facilities. By encouraging the strong philanthropic spirit within our community, our purpose is to foster relationships that assist the College in its ongoing purpose, to offer the finest co-educational learning experience in Australia.

Many of the beautiful buildings, wonderful spaces and exceptional educational offerings we have at College are because of the generosity of past students, current and past parents and staff, and Friends of College. We acknowledge and thank them for their support of the College.

Through this stewardship of philanthopy, the Foundation have been able to assist with:

  • The Aquatic Centre (1999)
  • The Keith Humble Centre for Music and the Performing Arts (2006)
  • The Junior School Redevelopment (2020)
  • The Foundation Fellowship for staff professional development and enrichment
  • Scholarships and Bursaries
  • Contributions to music through the Foundation Concert and the 88 Keys Project

Through Giving we can all make a difference for students now, as well as providing a valuable legacy for those in the future.
