Last year, our generous and committed donors gave over $110,000 to our Annual Giving campaign. This incredible response was greatly appreciated and went a long way to support our students via our Scholarship Fund, the capital improvement of the Cloisters and The Geelong College Foundation Fund. Thank you to all those that gave so generously.
In 2022 our focus for the Annual Giving Campaign is, primarily, our equity scholarship program, Pegasus Scholarships.
The Geelong College has a rich history of supporting thousands of students through our Scholarship Fund. Scholarships enrich and diversify the student community providing benefits for all students. The Scholarship Fund continues to provide opportunities for our students who, ordinarily, would not be able to attend the College, while providing a varied social and cultural community for all of our students to learn in.
Year 12 prefect and scholarship recipient, Evelyn Coorey, shares her heartfelt journey to study at The Geelong College. Evelyn and her single mother, Ayanthi, migrated to Australia from war torn Sri Lanka when Evelyn was only five years old. Hear Evelyn’s amazing story in her own words in this short video.

The Dr Bill Williams Tjungurrayi Scholarship Fund was established in May 2018 to support Indigenous students attending The Geelong College. The scholarships are to be supported by an endowment fund, to exist in perpetuity.
Dr Bill Williams completed Year 12 at The Geelong College in 1975 and went on to train as a doctor. Always a man of principle and conviction, Bill became a social activist, particularly involved in the campaign against nuclear weapons. He was also involved in environmental and feminist issues and was a staunch advocate for Indigenous people for much of his life.
The Cloisters, Mackie House, the Dining Hall and Norman Morrison Memorial Hall are just some of our beautiful heritage buildings that need ongoing maintenance and refurbishment. We want all of our students to have that ‘unique’ College experience of learning in these beautiful buildings and to create memories of their own in these special spaces. A contribution to the Building fund helps to maintain and upgrade our heritage buildings as well as contributing to the development of new state-of-the-art educational facilities.
